English Dear Alfa Owner, Alfa Romeo-Entusiasti Finlandesi (AREF) is one of the most active and well managed automobile clubs in Finland. Whichever model you are fortunate to own, AREF is designed to help the Finnish ALFA enthusiast get more enjoyment from his or her Alfa through its social activities, technical advice, and network of contacts. AREF was formed in 1993 by enthusiastic Alfa owners possessing both great interest and passion in the legendary marque. Although we have close ties with the Finnish importer Italkon Oy and the ALFA dealer network, we remain entirely independent. We maintain contact with some of the many Alfa Romeo Owners Clubs around the world by exchanging magazines and encouraging reciprocal member visits. In addition to our international contacts, we are very active in promoting Alfa Romeo within Finland. Due to the wide geographic distribution of members, our principal communication link is provided by the club magazine, Entusiasti. With four issues each year, it promotes general interest in the marque through articles detailing our club's events, special features on new and old models, and discussions of technical matters. It also contains buy/sell/trade advertisements submitted by our members. Joining AREF is inexpensive. There is a one-time initiation fee of 10 € and the annual club membership dues are only 30 €, which includes a subscription to Entusiasti.
